Gather Hood 300mm x 300mm Base

 ** Gather Hood 300mm x 300mm Base

Gathers are used on open fires and baskets. The formed stainless steel gather is connected to the multi fuel liner in the chimney. The gather helps the flow of gases up the chimney, it also prevents the liner coming into contact with a fierce heat that can be produced.

Ecofan 812 - AirMax Black and Brass

** Ecofan 812 - AirMax Black and Brass

The 812 Series Ecofan is a heat powered fan designed to circulate the warm air created by a wood-stove operating with normal surface temperatures of between 65°C and 345°C. The optimal running temperature of the wood-stove Ecofan is the same as the recommended safe operating temperature for wood-stoves of between 205°C and 345°C. The Ecofan generates it`s own electricity - so no need for batteries or mains power.

Flue Liner 316L Grade Multifuel (316L/316L Grade)

** Flue Liner 316L Grade Multifuel (316L/316L Grade)

WARRANTY
316L Grade Flue Liner is warranted for 10 years (conditions apply)

APPLICATION
A double skinned flexible flue liner suitable for relining within a masonry chimney. Flue liner is suitable for use with burning gas, oil, coal, coke, cured dry logs, cured dry peat.

CONSTRUCTION
The flue liner has a smooth inner liner made from 316L grade stainless steel and is 0.12mm thick. The flue liner has a convoluted outer skin made from 316L stainless steel and is 0.12mm thick. The Flue Liner is constructed from a single strip of steel which is bent at 180 degrees and then the seam is folded in four planes to give a quattrolock seal.

APPROVAL
Flue Liner is approved and listed by HETAS

INSTALLATION - CHECK LIST
1.Make sure the liner will go down the chimney (this can be done by pulling down a small section of the diameter liner you will be using)
2.Sweep your chimney.
3.Check you pot is in good condition, if you are NOT using a suspended cowl then remove the pot from the stack.

INSTALLATION
Flue Liner should always be fitted from the top.
Make sure the arrows are pointing upwards (gas flow).
Secure a piece of string (at least the same length as the Flue Liner to the Nose Cone (order separately).
Now attach the Nose Cone onto the end of the Flue Liner, again making sure the arrows on the Flue Liner are pointing away from the Nose Cone in a upward direction so when the liner is installed the arrows will be pointing to the top of the chimney
Pull the liner down the chimney using the string and at the same time have someone at the top of the chimney feeding the Flue Liner down, once the Flue Liner is fitted remove the Nose Cone.

MAINTENANCE
It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.

Connecting Pipes Gloss Black Enamel 7 inch 90° Elbow with Door

** 90° Elbow with Door

90° elbow measured from the vertical - with access door for sweeping. This should only be used as the first piece when installing from the rear of an appliance.

APPLICATION
Suitable for gas, oil and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 750 degrees C.
Stove pipe should only be used as a connecting pipe between your appliance and Flue Liner / Chimney Stack / Twin Wall Flue System.

Black stove pipe should NOT be used to pass through ceilings or wall.

CONSTRUCTION
Black stove pipe is a single skin flue system manufactured in zero carbon steel with vitreous enamel coating in a matt black finish.
Suitable for gas, oil and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 750 degrees C

INSTALLATION
You should not install a piece of Vitreous Enamel Stove Pipe within 3 times the diameter of the flue from combustible material, e.g. wood, plaster boards, etc.
A 5 inch (125mm) diameter piece of Vitreous Enamel Stove Pipe should be 15 inches (375mm) away from combustible materials.
When installing make sure Vitreous Enamel Stove Pipe is installed the correct way up - the smaller diameter should always be pointing downward.
This is because all the condensates will stay within the flue system and not pass to the outside of Vitreous Enamel Stove Pipe.
Each joint should be coated with a jointing compound (fire cement or high temperature silicone sealant). This makes sure that no condensate can escape and spoil the appearance of the pipe.

MAINTENANCE
You should make provision for inspecting and cleaning the chimney. This is particularly important on solid fuel applications.
You can acheive this by installing a Vitreous Enamel pipe with an access door.
It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.

Heat Proof Screed 10kg Tub

** Heat Proof Screed 10kg Tub

Heatproof Screed is a cement like material which provides a protective rendering for brick, stone and other vulnerable materials which can be damaged by exposure to heat.
This fully blended composition, with a maximum grain size of 3mm, is mixed with water to a trowelling consistency.
HeatProof screed has a maximum service temperature of 1300 degrees C, which is more than adequate for any domestic application.
Coverage:
20kg will cover approximately 0.45M2 at a thickness of 25mm, with a bulk density of 18.40 kg/M3.
Where to use Heatproof Screed:
HeatProof Screed is used to render over common building materials such as brick, stone, breeze block and concrete, to provide heat protection to an otherwise vulnerable surface.
For example, when opening up fireplace areas, patching incinerators, kilns and barbeques.
How to use HeatProof Screed
It is important to provide maximum keying for HeatProof Screed by raking out any mortar joints to a depth of about 12.5mm and generally roughening the brick or stonework with a sharp tool.
Simply mix Heat Proof Screed with cold drinking water, stirring until a trowelling consistency is achieved.
Apply to exposed surfaces with a trowel or float working from the base upwards to give maximum support.
HeatProof Screed can be applied to a maximum thickness of 50mm, but 25mm will be quite adequate for most applications. The thickness should not be less than 12.5mm.
The rendered surface should be allowed to cure for 24 hours preferably kept cool and wet covering with polythene or wet rags after 6 hours.
The screed should then be allowed to dry out naturally for at least 48 hours before any heat is applied.
Initial heating should be as gentle as possible to allow the remaining moisture to be removed without damage.
Storing unused HeatProof Screed
Any unused Heat Proof Screed can be kept in the tub with the lid tightly replaced and stored in a cool, dry, frost-free place away from children and pets.
