125mm (5 inch) - Flue Liner 316L/904L Grade Multifuel (316L/904L Grade)

125mm (5 inch) - Flue Liner 316L/904L Grade Multifuel (316L/904L Grade)

WARRANTY
904L/316L Grade Flue Liner is warranted for 10 years (conditions apply)

APPLICATION
A double skinned flexible flue liner suitable for relining within a masonry chimney. Flue liner is suitable for use with burning gas, oil, coal, coke, cured dry logs, cured dry peat, some smokeless fuels.
If the appliance is mainly going to be used to burn wood, and the appliance is not DEFRA approved you should increase the diameter of the Flue Liner to 150mm (providing this will fit in the masonry chimney), as recommended by Building Regulations.

CONSTRUCTION
The flue liner has a smooth inner liner made from 904L grade stainless steel and is 0.12mm thick. The flue liner has a convoluted outer skin made from 316L stainless steel and is 0.12mm thick. The Flue Liner is constructed from two strips of steel and the seam is folded in three planes to give a triplelock seal.

APPROVAL
Flue Liner is approved and listed by HETAS

INSTALLATION - CHECK LIST
1.Make sure the liner will go down the chimney (this can be done by pulling down a small section of the diameter liner you will be using)
2.Sweep your chimney.
3.Check you pot is in good condition, if you are NOT using a suspended cowl then remove the pot from the stack.

INSTALLATION
Flue Liner should always be fitted from the top.
Make sure the arrows are pointing upwards (gas flow).
Secure a piece of string (at least the same length as the Flue Liner to the Nose Cone (order separately).
Now attach the Nose Cone onto the end of the Flue Liner, again making sure the arrows on the Flue Liner are pointing away from the Nose Cone in a upward direction so when the liner is installed the arrows will be pointing to the top of the chimney
Pull the liner down the chimney using the string and at the same time have someone at the top of the chimney feeding the Flue Liner down, once the Flue Liner is fitted remove the Nose Cone.

MAINTENANCE
It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.

Vermiculite (100L Bag)

Vermiculite (100L Bag)

The insulating properties of vermiculite significantly reduces the heat loss in cold weather and keeps the interior cool in hot weather. For insulating solid fuel and wood burning liners, it reduces the amount of condensates by keeping the flue warm, it also holds the liner rigid to aid sweeping.

The Chimney Notice Plate

Chimney Notice Plate

Chimney Notice plates are a Building Regulations requirement. They most be filled out and fixed near to the appliance or within a meter cupboard.

The 100mm (4 inch) Joiner

The 100mm (4 inch) Joiner

Allows the joining of two pieces of multi fuel liner (only to be used in none flueing applications)

The 100mm (4 inch) Nose Cone

The 100mm (4 inch) Nose Cone

The nose cone is attached to the leading end of the liner, it helps prevent snagging against the side of the stack during installation. Please note that draw cords are not supplied.

APPLICATION
The nose cone helps prevent snagging of a flue liner against the side of the stack during installation.

INSTALLATION
Insert a draw cord or string (not supplied) into the hole of the nose cone. Secure with a knot. make sure the draw cord is long enough to reach to the bottom of the stack. Now tape or secure the nose cone to the flue liner end.

MAINTENANCE
It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.

The 100mm (4 inch) Rain Cap

100mm (4 inch) Rain Cap

Provides rain protection at the top of the stack.

APPLICATION
Provides rain protection at the top of the stack.

INSTALLATION
Terminal slides over the top of the liner and can be screwed into place with self tapping screws (not supplied) or alternatively can be cemented in to place at the top of the stack.
MAINTENANCE
It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.

The 100mm (4 inch) Top Clamp

100mm (4 inch) Top Clamp

Used in conjunction with the Top Plate and Top Insert Sleeve, this will support the weight of the liner at the top of the stack.

APPLICATION
Used in conjunction with the Top Plate and Top Insert Sleeve, the Top Clamp supports the weight of the flue liner at the top of the stack.

CONSTRUCTION
The glavanised steel plate measure 15 inch square (375mm).

INSTALLATION
Place the Top Plate over the chimney recess at the top of the stack. The Flue Liner should protrude throught the Top Plate hole by approximately 100mm.
Insert the Top Insert Sleeve into the Flue Liner. Now place the Top Clamp over the Flue Liner and tighten the two nuts and bolts until the Flue Liner is secure againts Top Insert Sleeve. Now apply a suitable acid resistant cement as a seal and weather proof render. While this cement is wet secure the chimney pot to this cement.

MAINTENANCE
It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.

The Increasing Adapter 100 Rigid to 125 Flex :

Increasing Adapter 100 Rigid to 125 Flex

A metal connector which connects the flexible chimney liner (one diameter size bigger - ie. 5 inch (125mm)) to single wall pipe at the base of the stack.

APPLICATION
Connects 125mm (5 inch) Flue Liner to 100mm (4 inch) Black Pipe / Vitreous Enamel / 1mm Stainless / Single Wall flue at the bottom of the chimney stack.
HETAS recommend that if you are burning wood then you should increase the size of the flue liner by 25mm from the appliances spigot size.
This is due to the amount of condensates that can be produced from burning unseasoned wood.

CONSTRUCTION
Made from 316 grade stainless steel, it has integral drain hole to let the condensates flow back into the flue.

INSTALLATION
1.Connect the bottom of the Flue Liner to the adaptors twin wall section, using self tapping screws and seal with either Fire Cement or High Temperature Silicone Sealant.
You can now conect the adapter using Fire Cement or High Temperature Silicone Sealant to either your appliance (if the appliance is a solid fuel appliance then you must have a least 600mm of flue pipe before this connection) or Black Pipe / Vitreous Enamel / Single Wall Stove Pipe. If the gap is large between the adapter and the pipe you can seal using a combination of Fire Cement / Silicone and Fire Rope.

MAINTENANCE
It is recommended that chimneys serving solid fuel appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.
